The Hive Summer Camps 2026: Registration Open Now!

Summer is the perfect time for kids to discover the joy of climbing! The Hive Summer Camps are back for 2026, offering a fun, active, and confidence-building experience for youth across all five locations in BC. Whether your child is a first-time climber or a returning camper, all skill levels are welcome at The Hive.
SCHEDULE
All camps run from 9am to 4pm. Most camps run for a full week, Monday through Friday, including statutory holidays. Schedules vary by program and location.
CAMP PROGRAMS
We offer three camp programs grouped by age, including bouldering and rope climbing options. Participants must be within the age range on the first day of camp.
Bouldering Programs:
- Juniors: Ages 6 to 8
- Inters: Ages 9 to 12
Rope Climbing Program:
- Ages 10 and up (only at Hive Heights)

Our instructors are energetic, experienced, and genuinely passionate about working with youth. They combine technical know-how with warmth and encouragement, helping each camper improve while creating a safe, supportive space where trying hard and having fun go hand in hand.
- Adventure Inside & Out
Campers spend about a third of their time off-site, exploring local parks and connecting with nature. These outdoor adventures show that the spirit of climbing isn’t just in the gym — it’s a mindset of curiosity, courage, and exploration that extends everywhere.
- Connection Through Climbing
Camp is a place where kids connect with other like-minded peers who share the same love of movement and adventure. The memories made here have a way of turning into friendships that last long after the week is over.

Heights
Heights is the home of our Rope Climbing Camps for kids aged 10 and up. Campers learn climbing techniques, top rope belaying, and how to climb safely in a gym. Experienced climbers can refine advanced skills and take their abilities to the next level. This week-long camp includes a day trip to Hive Surrey for a fun bouldering session.
